    Hey!
I'll change the all exhaust system in my Volvo 740.
I've got B230F motor with catalisator and lambda sond (the lambda is install
before the catalisator,..is install near the engine, in collector). In this
moment the catalisator is put out because it's damaged,..so I've got two
    another silencer.

I don't want buy the new catalisator. (I use the LPG Patrol for my car, so I
    don't need the cat.!)

I want to buy all new exhaust system to my car,..but I think, if I can buy
3 silencers system (from models without catalisator) or I must buy 2
silencers (the system from models with catalistor and 2 silencers)??

What are positives and negatives for install the 3 silencers system (from
car without cat.) to my Volvo 740 (primary with catalisator, but now only
    with 2 silencers)??

  2. You can safely leave out the catalyser as it is not necessary on your car
and your Lambda probe is installed upstream of the cat where the manifold
becomes one pipe. It is possible as a temporary remedy to rod out the
catalyser (carefully remove all elements from inside the catalyser so that
it is just an empty box), or to replace it with a piece of pipe of the
    correct size.

    All the best, Peter.

Yes, I know it,..I've installed the pipe in catalistaor's place.
But I've to change all my exhaust system, because it's very old. And I don't
know what buy?? Only 2 silencers (I've got 2 in this moment) or buy 3
silencers system (from models without catalisator). With 3 silencers will be
more silence than with 2 silencers?? My engine will work good with 3
silencers?? What with engine's power and sound of my engine in 2 or 3
    silencers system??
