2001 S80 T6 Throttle Body Issues?

    I am looking for info on issues with this car not running well. It starts but runs poorly

    Service shops tell me only Volvo Dealers have data and specs etc to update this year and
    the throttle body seems to be the issues as advised my a mechanic.

    Maybe someone who has this car or knows major items to look for and if that statement is true. My friend is in a rough situation
