The indicator fuse has blown twice in last 2 months when indicating. Replace fuse each and it was immediately fine before blowing a week or so later. Most recently have had about 3 weeks with no issue. I cannot repeat the fault but carry a box of spare fuses. I remove them regularly and clean and also do the rotating reick to keep contacts good.

Also seem to need to replace brake lights fairly often

Only problems with the car have been electrical in recent years.

I have replaced the alternator bushes/regulator twice. Once after the bushes had worn too much and so no charging. The replacement failed after about 6 months and seemed to not be regulating, with non stable voltage blowing headlights once - I assume because of unregulated/excessive voltage at higher speeds, ( a bit frightening at 70 in the dark to lose lights on busy A3). The current regulator seems fine and the light intensity is steady at all revs. I carry a spare!

Heater blower has burnt out but not had the energy to face that task yet.

Have lost about 50% of the demist bars on rear tailgate.

OT: have just done 200k. One owner car.
