85 Volvo 240 runs at a high at all times

    I bought an 85 240 that had been sitting for awhile. Got it running well but when driving down I5 in Ca. We needed to change out the ignition coil. Now the car runs at very high rpms on freeways and city streets. Does anyone know how to fix this? We have tried adjusting the idle but to no avail.
    We aren't sure if we should replace the ICU (which was rebuilt 8 months ago) or the Throttle position sensor or something else. ANY IDEAS PLEASE!!!
