I found that by wiggling the wiring to the injectors I could
occasionally get a spark, so I spent a couple hours tonight removing the
engine wiring harness and that's definitely the problem. The insulation
is crumbling away all over in the section of harness under the intake
manifold, it amazes me that the car ran as long as it did, clearly on
borrowed time. I'm gonna go attempt to rebuild the harness myself for
now since I can't wait (and can't really afford at the moment) to buy a
new one from Dave Barton just yet. Hope to get this beast back on the
road so I can drive it to work tomorrow.
