  2. It's fine.

If you still have doubts, though, phone your local Volvo dealer - they
are usually quite helpful with this question.

Go ahead and use unleaded at 95 RON, your car is built to use it. You will
notice that the filling cap is Green and the filler neck is too narrow for a
leaded pump nozzle. Nice car, has only 10 bhp less than 2.3 Turbo.

    Cheers, Peter.

    I thought the B230FT was 182bhp and the 2litre 160bhp? That makes 22bhp to
    me!

Depends where you are, in north america the B230FT is 160bhp, I was under
the impression that the hotter version in europe was the B230ET.

UK specs from the 1995 manual:

    hp/rpm:
    B230FT - 165/4800
    B200FT - 155/5600

    ET not mentioned.

I have read the B230FT has 194bhp, which I assume is at the engine, with the
    lower figure at the wheels.

BTW all new UK cars had to be compliant with 95 ron petrol by 1988 ASFAIK.

  7. yes but the torque is much greater on the turbo as well you can turn up the
wick and voommmmmmmmmmm as well the engine leaks a lots of oil I hear .Best
is a 16 valve head on the turbo instant power increase .Remember the 16
valve is an interference engine meaning if the cam belt breaks you bend your
valves big time ,where as the 8 valve just stops with no damage .
