A-reg 240

    A neighbour has an 'A'reg240 here's the problem,

    In a car park put the key into the ignition,turned to start the car dash
    lights came on and a buzzing started,went to start the car fuse blown and
    everything dead.

    Any Ideas.

    It sound like it could be as simple as a corroded fuse connection
    which as a common Vovo 240 problem . .Disconnect battery. Remove
    fuses , clean connections at fuse ends and on fuse box terminals and
    reinstall inthe correct order replacing the bad ones of course .
    Reconnect battery . Report bact here if it fixed it .
