Ah, I never noticed the "org"

    Craigslist is a true phenomenon.

IPD also offers a free classified / for sale board:

Autotrader.com might be worth looking at, too.

Your message reads like an old Burma Shave roadside advertisement. Try
not pressing return after every word.

All are fine cars. Personally I would look at the 960 wagon which is
not on your list. Biggest issue for cars of that age will be how well
they were maintained. Check the service records and have the car
    inspected by a competent mechanic.

Next to be concerned about is rust if you are buying a car from an area
that salts the roads a lot. I would avoid a 15 to 20 year old car from
places that get snow and ice. $1,000 will get you a car with close to
200,000 miles. I would stay away from engines with turbos at that age
cause the compressor is probably getting ready to fail.

I didn't see the 850's on your list, but that would be the top of mine.
I'd look for a mid 90s model and I'd steer clear of the turbos. Just
    my $.02.

Ah but the turbos are by far the most enjoyable to drive, and tend to
hold up about as well as the NA motors.

Replace the engine wiring harness if not done already and you should
have a nice car with a bit of cleanup.
