Comments about 2001 S40

    Considering buying a 2001 S40 (auto) with 70,000 km. I haven't had a
    Volvo since 1977 so I am out of touch. Does anyone have a list of
    problems or things to watch out for with these cars?
    I looked through the group but didn't find anything major.

    Consumer Reports has an annual issue with information on used cars, including repair
    histories, by make and model. Most public libraries have it. Or go to
    http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/used-cars.htm.
