My brick has been starting to idle horribly lately so i decided to
give the throttle body a good clean out, and suddenly the idle speed
has risen to around 1600 RPM. I know there is a large dial that can
adjust the idle speed, but something tells me there is more to it than
that. Does anyone know the correct way to adjust the idle speed? The
engine is a B23E k-jet injection if that helps. Thanks in advance

Does the engine have the constant idle system? I don't *think* the E engines
got them but then we never got those here so they're quite rare. If it
doesn't have that, look at the throttle stop and the idle valve knob, as
well as the throttle linkage. Also make sure you got all the vacuum lines on
    right.

Had a close look at the throttle linkage, it was not moving smoothly
and so was getting stuck just slightly open. The model didnt have a
constant idle system as far as i could tell. Thanks for your input,
its now sitting smoothly (or as smooth as it gets) at a steady 900
    RPM.
