Does Volvo make their batteries?

    No, they are made in France by another Co.
    Not sure of the name though.

    I have an 850 with an OEM unit.... it has lasted way past normal. Any
    body know if Volvo makes their own batteries?

    Just curious.

    Hey, mine lasted 7 years, despite being run down several times and
    parking outside in the extreme hot and cold of Chicago.

    Anyhow, no, they are made elsewhere.
