Just noticed while I had the glove box out that the hinge that moves the external air exclusion flap in and out on my '93 854 has broken. Not a big problem since I rarely it anyway, but I clearly want to make sure it remains in a permanently open position (ie, letting air in). I reckon this is when the rod that's directly connected to the flap is pushed as far forward (ie, towards the engine bay) as possible. Anyone concur / beg to differ? TIA. Stu C
