As above, pair of Cloth V70 front seats, removed because the DRIVER'S HEATED SEAT NO LONGER WORKS. I have fitted a pair of Leather seats into the car, so these are up for sale. Been sitting around for a month, and I now need the space. They're beige cloth, in Very Good clean condition, apart from tiny (6mm round) cigarette-type burn where the Driver's heated seat went wrong. New heating element with integral thermostat is available from Volvo Main dealer, for about £35. The small hole could be stitched easily (or ignored!). When the heater broke, I didn't realise that the upholstery was so easy to remove. The Haynes manual says don't attempt it, but according to Volvospeed, it's just a case of opening up about 8 wire hooks using pliers, and laying the new element in place underneath. Both seats have SIPS airbags intact e.t.c, and will fit any pre-2000 V70 or S70. May also fit 850, but I can't guarantee this. May suit someone who has had a more serious seat-fire, or had their seats attacked by Kids/Pets?!! Looking for £60 ono for the pair. Should make a bargain for someone, even if you wish to repair them. Also a bargain if your passenger seat heater has broken! Undoubtedly they'd fetch about 2 hundred quid on ebay!
