  1. Hi all I am helping a friend promote a web site. You see a childhood
friend of hers lost her husband at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11,
2001. She has run into some hard times and my freind wants to help her.
So she came up with the idea to market Just say NO to Bin Ladin
dartboards and punching bag covers. Not only is she going to donate
part of the proceeds to her freind but an additional part of the
proceeds will go to the Firemans Fund. If you could take the time to
check out the web site it would sure be appreciated! The web site addy
    is:

    Thanks so much everyone!!

Just replace "Bin Ladin" with "George W.Bush", and you have a real
culprit behind the whole sad episode.

Wy doncha yanks wake up and smell the coffee? Ask the real questions
from your leaders, make them liable for their lies and maybe one day you
might, just might be accepted back among the big international family
    again.

Politics aside (and no, I don't agree with you on that part either) the real
culprit is the spammer. This message has appeared in every public newsgroup
I frequent - not crossposted, but individually replicated - and has most of
the characteristics of classic scams. I count no fewer than 4 separate
appeals to sentiment and none to reason. The spammer did forget to add
something about a lost little puppy, though, to make the scam complete.
