MUTE function on S40

    Anyone know if there is a mute function on the S40 audio system? If there
    is, on which pin??

    On my 1998 V70 the mute is pin 9 on the 14 pin connection on the back of
    the radio.

    I presume that would be the power connector??

    If the back of your radio doesn't look like this...
    http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/radiocon.htm
    then don't use what I've said. Pin 9 on the connector marked "A" in
    this picture is for mute.
