Thanks for the input Rod, much appreciated.

You mean this problem is caused by using low octane petrol AND carbon build-up at valves?
But I use 98 unleaded octane petrol. So is it still ok to use 92 or 93 (lower than my usual 98) with some Techron?
Knowing that i use 98 octane unleaded now, I think you would want me to use 100 octane petrol with some Techron?
    Please advice.

The "valves" you mentioned, are they the regular engine valves, located in upper half of engine?
If so, I did a complete TOP OVERHAUL 4 months ago. Will this overhaul rid the valves of the carbon you mentioned?

    Regards.

If you did a head job 4 months ago, the valves are probably OK with no build
up, but the symptoms would indicate that. Another cause could be the
throttle position sensor being so close to the on position that when it
heats up it is in the off position. Try cleaning the throttle body and set
the TPS. You should hear it click when you turn the bellcrank. Try it hot
and cold and see if there is any difference.
