Replacing 850 emblems, cost savings options?

The 850 emblems still appear to be available from the dealer,
but they aren't exactly inexpensive. I'm just wondering if anyone
has come across a less expensive supplier/approach.

 

You could try a salvage yard and carefully remove them.

 

Thanks for the reply. I tried calling the local yards, but they have
no 850's, and couldn't recommend a yard which was likely to. If
anyone knows of a good "Volvo yard", I'll make a note of it.
FWIW, I'm near Philadelphia.

 

Hey, call any of these 118 junk-yards in Sweden, and ask for it.
Sooner or later you'll get what you want, and I guess shipping is very
inexpensive (2$-4$ I guess) for just the emblems.
Just remember 2 things:
1. call 0046 or +46 for Sweden and skip the first '0' in the region number.
2. The guys at the junkyards are not well known for their excellent english
so in some cases, you'd better send them an email.
