Of course Daytime running lights are of most value when you live in
latitudes greater than 50 degrees North or South.
Hardly worth driving around Spain in the Brilliant sunshine with the running
lights on!
There was a wiring fault with the 2001 model that caused bulbs to blow
prematurely and my Dealer supplied the fix ( rewiring ) free of charge.
I wonder if something similar affected the 98 model.
