Hello, I'm in the UK and have cracked my 1999 s40 rear passenger side
light cover. I believe I need to replace the whole light "cluster" is
this correct (and is this the correct terminology)? If so does anyone
know fairly cheap places to get hold of one of these clusters.

Also, once I've got the cluster, is it fairly easy to remove the old
one and install the new one? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to
cars. If not, how much should I be looking to pay to have it done
professionally, I don't want to get ripped off obviously.

    Thank you in advance

I assume you're talking about the tail light assembly(?) It is
relatively easy to remove/replace. From memory, you may need to remove
the rubber seal from the boot lip (just pull it up) and part of the
boot liner (attached via some plastic clips which can be loosened with
a phillips head screw driver and pulled out with your fingers), then
it's a matter of un-bolting the tail light to remove it. Do the
reverse to replace it. You don't need to be highly skilled or
experienced to do this.... just patient. You should be able to get a
cheap(er) replacement from a motor wreckers (i.e. 2nd hand part).
