Suggest you stick with Mobil 1 10-30 to avoid possible noisy lifters. You
should not need to do anything to flush your engine; just change the oil and
filter and use a new aluminum crush washer on the drain plug. I have been
using Mobil 1 for over 500,000 miles in several cars (latest being a 1995
850 turbo with 127,000 miles now) with no engine related problems of any
type. I always change oil and filter every 3 to 5 thousand miles or 6
months, whichever comes first; I know that is probably overkill, but oil is
cheap compared to engine repairs.
