    Hi Folks,
Checked the FAQ at the "Brick' site and just want to check my facts.
1990 740GLE, current tire size 185/65-15. Other sizes that will fit
factory alloy wheels without causing clearance problems are 195/60-15
    and 205/55-15. Am I correct?
    Thanks,
    Bob

  2. I've used 195s but never tried 205s.

I'm pretty sure I have 205 60R15s on my 740, they fit fine.

  4. When towing the volvo 780 turbo bertone coupe my father has, I put on my old
    rims/tires - 225/45-17, 17x7.5 et20 rims.
They fit fine!! Now the car runs on et43 + 20mm spacers (et23), 17x7 rims, with
    215/40-17(?). No clearance issues.

On my own volvo 242, I run 225/35-18 tires, on 18x8.5, et13 rims, 20mm spacer
rear.. Though I have adjustable panhardrod and I will soon fit the adjustable
torquerods too! Ps. I had to find my anglegrinder to fit so large tires to the
    242.
