VOLVO S40 1996 *** HAZARD LIGHTS KEEP COMING ON ***

    Hi, I have a 1996 S40, Just recently when i lock the car with the
    remote control key the hazard lights come on and keep flashing, The
    only way i can stop them is to use the key to lock and unlock the
    car......Does anyone have any ideas what might be at fault ?
