Looking to buy another Volvo. Is there a site with models and
specifications of each e.g. engine sizes, engine types, drive types, et
al. So I may make better choice.

There's pretty much one for every country they sell cars in, as is the case
    with most car manufacturers.

    Canada:
    http://www.volvocanada.com/Home/Home.aspx
    USA:
    http://www.volvocars.us/
The big list, in case you're in the UK/EU:
    http://www.volvocars.com/

    How's that for choice?

Use the car builder, select your model, engine, options anything... you can
even get a price on the car (tho I don't think taxes are included, at least
not with Canada as far as I can tell)

Try to do a search on the specific model.

If you live in the USA/Canada you could try www.carpoint.com on the left
hand side of the page select use, goto Volvo and pick your model... I've
looked up my 960 there as well as some of the other Volvo's we've had (only
goes down to 1988 tho, no don't go looking up a 1974 242 or anything)....
Everything seems right, they listed 10 more lbft of torque then my cars
engine actually has, but everything else seems to check out alright.

  5. For new stuff in the UK:

http://www.volvocars.co.uk/ and click on 'Build & Price.'

Otherwise, how about the Parkers site:

www.parkers.co.uk/ although this is a difficult site to navigate
around - actually going to the newsagent and buying Parker's Car Price
Guide is easier. They include some brief specs. and there was even a
guide for older cars once (maybe still is).
