Wheel selection for '65 Amazon

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by Cormac Foster, Feb 1, 2005.

  1. Hi, all.

My Amazon has been properly de-rusted at a greater expense than the cost
of the car, but it was worth it to keep another one on the road. Next
up--wheels. I'm thinking of either Panasport mags with blackwalls or
the original wheels with Coker whitewalls. I'm still on the fence. I
just purchased some original mudflaps from IPD, so the whitewalls might
be a nice original touch, but the mags look really cool.

Handling is a bit of an issue, but since I live in Southern California,
I'll never be on snow and I'll rarely be on wet roads.

Pics of the car are at:

    New pics on page 5.

    What would you folks choose?

    Thanks!

    Cormac
