Wheel trims on a '98 V40

Discussion in 'Volvo V40' started by Andrew McConville, Nov 10, 2003.

  1. Hi

Does anybody know where I (or more specifically my father) can get a
hold of a wheel trim for a 1998 V40 in the uk reasonably cheaply? Have
tried both Volvo and an Independent volvo specialist in our area
(Ayrshire, Scotland) but both are wanting £40+ for what is essentially a
bit of plastic. Have also phoned round a few breakers yards - no luck
so far. If I recall correctly, there were two types of wheel cover for
the V40 at that time - although I can't remember what they were called
so unfortunately I am unable to be more specific, it is the one with a
black 'volvo' logo between the four holes for the wheel nuts and it has
round holes around the outside of the trim. I did find the following on
the back of one of the other trims if it helps:

    Volvo
    30809737
    72107
    pa66 md 16

    any help much appreciated

    cheers

    Andrew
