Windshield wiper fluid connector leaking

    The windshield wiper fluid is not coming out the nozzles on my wife's 740GL. There is a small connector that connects the two nozzles and a third hose from the pump. It has a small red cap with a small hole opening that the fluid comes out of when I try it.
    The rear window nozzle does not work as well, but I think its a different problem.
    Could this be a clogged line? And is this little connection supposed to spurt fluid from it (I'm thinking not).
    Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.
