I have a few questions about my "new" to me 2004 XC-70.

    1) The door lock button will LOCK (albeit with a loud whine) but will NOT unlock. I have to turn off the car, pull the key from the ignition & use the remote unlock if someone needs into the back seat & no one's sitting back there to just open the door.

I have read this is a possibly super expensive thing since the door latch & door lock module are one piece. Yippee. Please give some advice here.

    2) The remote does NOT release the rear hatch. This is major for me, personally. I am 3' 9" tall so I need as much ease in that hatch as possible. Plus, does anyone know if a power open/close hatch opener can be added after-market?

    3) I feel there's a hesitation in the starting of the engine. My husband & I are having a "discussion" about this. He seems to think it's because the engine is a T-5 that it has more to start, basically. I call BS! If it has EFI then it should just power up & purr like any other vehicle with EFI. I say she's never had a tune-up. She has 134K miles on her. She runs like a scalded dog so I say it's simply a tune up, probably really needing a new fuel filter. I checked a tune-up kit for her online & it's roughly $107 which I think is pretty sweet. My next question is, do we have to have a cherry picker or some other crazy equipment to remove the plugs? My 2004 Toyota Sienna had 3 in the front & 3 underneath so it was not made to tune up in the front yard.

    Thanks for y'alls help!
